CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
When
booking please
send a deposit of £100 per person (£200 for tour of more than 7 nights). You
may make telephone reservations if you wish, in which case we will hold your
booking for 6 days awaiting your confirmation and deposit. If you cancel your
tour the deposit will not be refundable.
The balance must reach us 2 months before the start of the tour, otherwise we cannot guarantee to hold your booking. Where bookings are made less than 2 months before the start day of the tour, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
Together with confirmation invoice of your booking you will receive an
itinerary and joining instructions. Payment
is by personal cheque only, I
cannot accept credit or debit cards. Booking
from USA You may book through my agents in your country if you prefer,
they are listed in this brochure. Payment from abroad
If you are sending money from abroad GB. GUIDING can only receive Euro Cheques up to a value of £700 pounds per cheque, Sterling Bank Draft, Cheque drawn on a British
bank or Cheques draw in US$ on US banks. Please contact us if you intend to
pay in US$ and we can price the holiday at the current exchange rate. All should be made payable to G. W. BLUNSUM. Please ensure your bank quotes your name on any bank draft.
If you cancel The deposit is forfeited on cancellation. Cancellations must be notified as soon as possible and confirmed in writing or by fax and are effective from the date received by us. For cancellation received less than 6 weeks before the start date of a tour the following refunds will be made (The refund period starts on the date of receipt of cancellation) 41 - 28 days before start - 60% of the balance 27 - 14 days before start - 20% of the balance 13 - 0 days before start - Nil
If we cancel
If we have to cancel or make major alterations to your tour we will inform you promptly and offer a full refund of all monies received or a free transfer to another comparable tour with cash adjustment if necessary. GB. GUIDING will not be liable for any loss, damage or expense resulting from force majeure or any other unforeseen circumstances outside the control of GB. GUIDING, which might affect the tour.
Alterations
in group size The tour price is calculated on the number of people in your group. Increases in the size of the group will mean a decrease in the per person price. Vice versa a decrease in numbers in your group may mean a slight price increase.
Other alterations
may incur a charge per person of up to £40for those wishing to change their booking before the final payment period. Alterations after this date will be treated as cancellation and rebooking.
Complaints Procedure
In the unlikely event of having a complaint about your tour please tell us as soon as possible during the tour so that we can attempt to resolve the problem quickly. After the tour please address any complaint in writing within ten days; we regret that we may not be able to take action if there is a longer
delay.
Contract
& Jurisdiction
Your contract comes into existence when a confirmation invoice is issued
by us. The contract made by the client and GB. GUIDING shall be governed in all respects by English Law and English courts only shall have jurisdiction in relation to any claim or dispute arising out of or connected with any such contract. Suppliers
Conditions Please note all services are subject to the conditions of
the relevant supplier e.g. Hotels, Coach companies etc. Some of which may
limit or exclude their liability to you usually in accordance with
international convention. We believe the details contained
on this wed site to be correct at time of publication. All arrangements made on behalf of clients are made in good faith. We reserve the right to alter the information, prices and itineraries in the brochure before acceptance of a booking in which case these changes will be binding on both parties. Whilst every effort is made to follow the agreed tour programme, the itinerary may be varied due to weather, experience of the party, or any other reason GB. GUIDING feel will be beneficial.
